Hey y'all, hope your Friday is going well! As you probably guessed from my absence, things have been pretty busy on my end. I've piddled around with some little things, but no huge amount of progress to share sadly. I do that this little ditty to share though!
Though I've been playing with hexies, I saw a little pentagon ball in All Points Patchwork and I immediately wanted one of my own! I figured I could use it as a pin cushion...or a ball to pelt my husband with if he misbehaved! Lol. I love the scrappiness of it, it makes me smile whenever I look at it. :)

What am I going to do when I run out of these adorable foxes in my scrap bin?! |
I also finished this little cross stitch logo for Mr. LBC for our anniversary. He asked if I could make a case for his newest toy, so it will probably get worked into it somehow. Just another project to add to the list, right? :)

Finish It Up Friday and
NTT!
That hexie ball is adorable. Now I kind of want to make some for DT. Oh no. More tempting projects. And I'll have another reason to get All Points Patchwork from the library!
ReplyDeleteThis ball is perfect for little baby hands I feel like. :) They are 1 inch pentagons, so they go together super fast; I imagine hexies would go together fast too! I've already started toying with the idea of using bigger shapes to make a bigger ball, though who knows when I will actually get that idea into reality? Lol.
DeleteThe ball is so cute. I bet LBC would like one to bat around. You'll just have to shop for more foxy material. Oh no, not more material.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he would like one to sling around our apartment! And shopping for more fabric, I don't know if I can manage! ;) Lol.
DeleteLBC is gonna swipe that adorable lil ball! So cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Mr. LBC tried to tempt him with it, but I swooped in and saved it! I tossed him a cotton swab to play with instead, he was a happy cat! Lol.
DeleteLBC would probably like mice on his ball. :)
ReplyDeleteMy stash is lacking in mice. :( Now I have to find mouse fabric...for LBC, of course! Lol
